TRAIL TO FIRST CLASS
Rank requirements from Scout to First Class

Schedule: 

  • 8:30 am - Scout Check-In
  • 9:00 am to 12:00 pm  - Morning Session for all
  • 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm - Lunch
    • Bring a sack lunch and a water bottle
      Snacks will be provided
  • 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm - Afternoon Session for all, except for those in the Cooking merit badge session, which ends at 2:00 pm
  • 3:30 pm - Scout Pickup (Scouts in Cooking merit badge leave at 2:00 pm)
 

Cost: $ 45, maximum two sessions

 
Required Forms:  Annual Health and Medical Record Forms, Parts A, B1, B2. Be sure to include copies of insurance cards and all adult signatures.

Animation Merit Badge Morning only. Up to 10 Scouts.

Bring two pencils, an eraser, and a signed blue card. Paper and blank flipbooks provided by Counselor.

Prerequisites: 1b and 4a.

Competitive Gaming Merit Badge (NEW) Morning or afternoon session. Up to 14 Scouts per session.

Bring a signed blue card. Scouts will be able to complete most group activities. Individual required tasks are to be completed at home. Meet with Counselor at a later date to sign off on rest of requirements.
Cooking Merit Badge (Eagle-required) Session is 8:30 am-2:00 pm. Up to 10 Scouts.

Print and bring a copy of the workbook, a writing instrument, and a signed blue card. Most but not all requirements completed onsite. This session has a 2:00 pm early pick up time.
Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge (Eagle-required) Morning or afternoon session. Up to 10 Scouts per session. Print and bring a copy of the workbook, a writing instrument, and a signed blue card. Scout must be 14+ years old. Most of the badge can be completed at the event. Meet with Counselor at a later date to sign off on rest of requirements.
First Aid Merit Badge (Eagle-required) Morning or afternoon session. Up to 10 Scouts per session.

Bring a signed blue card.

Prerequisite: #1.
Trail to First Class (Eagle-required) Morning or afternoon session. Up to 12 Scouts per session. Bring your Scouts BSA Handbook. Session covers Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class Rank requirements, as needed.

Available US Scout Service Project workbooks are provided below as a courtesy.
