Schedule: 
Saturday, December 13, 2025

• 8:30 am - Check in at your location above
• 8:45 am - Flags and instruction
• 9:00 am - Session begins
• 1:00 pm - Sessions end at Salem Lutheran School
• 2:30pm - Estimated session end time for Environmental Science Merit Badge at Brand Park (at least 5 hours)
  • Bring a sack lunch for this longer course session 

• Annual Health and Medical Record Forms, Parts A, B1, B2. Be sure to include copies of insurance cards and all adult signatures.
• Review the notes from respective Merit Badge Counselors, below. Any prerequisites are listed.

Artificial Intelligence Merit Badge	12 Scouts	Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School.
Cooking Merit Badge	15 Scouts	Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School. We will cover Req #s 1, 2, 3, and 7 and may be able to complete a meal plan for cooking at home (#4). Complete Req #s 5 and 6 with your unit and meet with Counselor at a later date to sign off on rest of requirements.
Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge	12 Scouts, must be 14+ years old	Print a copy of the workbook and bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School. Most of the badge can be completed at the event. Meet with Counselor at a later date to sign off on rest of requirements.
Fire Safety Merit Badge	10 Scouts	Print a copy of the workbook and complete it. Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School. Must complete Req #s 4-6 outside of the session.
First Aid Merit Badge	12 Scouts	Print a copy of the workbook and complete it. Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School. Bring your first aid kit, wear field uniform (Class A), be prepared to practica skills such as bandaging, calling for help, and moving an injured person.
Fly Fishing Merit Badge	10 Scouts	Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Salem Lutheran School. Req #s 5, 6, 10 and 11 may be done outside this session with the counselor at an agreed meeting day/time. Equipment will be provided.
Environmental Science Merit Badge	20 Scouts, 8:30am-2:30pm	Bring a signed blue card. Meet at Brand Park, main parking lot. Note, this class will take at least five hours. Scouts will need a lunch, dress for the weather, and bring a chair, notebook, and water bottle.

US Scout Service Project workbooks are provided below as a courtesy.
