VHC Camporee 2025
DASTARDLY VILLAINS HAVE TAKEN OVER CAMPOREE CITY! and our Camp Crusaders need your help!
Camporee is designed to emphasize the Patrol method and allow Scouts to put their outdoor skills to use. Patrols will be tested with a series of challenging and fun competitions including Action Archery, Morse Code, Tomahawk Throwing, Lashings, and a C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) course to help our Camp Crusaders defeat the villains!
Registration by TROOP only. No provisional Scouts.
Cost Options
This year's Camporee event does not allow campsite cooking.The US Forest Service fire restriction level is EXTREME so no open flames will be allowed during Camporee, including camp stoves, propane lanterns, jet boils, backpack stoves, campfires, etc. However, for Saturday and Sunday meals, the camp kitchen will provide hot/boiling water for your meal prep and use (hot beverages, dry or dehydrated meals, dishwashing, etc.).
Option 1: $30 per participant
Participation fee plus hot water provided as described.
Option 2: $35 per participant
Participation fee plus hot water provided as described AND a Saturday night hot dinner: baked potato w/meat chili, grated cheese and sour cream, plus a salad!
A free cracker barrel dessert will be provided for all of camp Saturday evening.
Participant registration is restricted to Scoutmasters or other adult leaders signing up a group of Scouts on the troop Tentaroo account. Scoutmasters, download the Tentaroo Registration Guide - VHC Camporee 2025, below.

REGISTRATION
Scoutmasters, review the below and contact Camping and Activities Registar Wendy Tateishi to register your patrol.
1.) View the Tentaroo Registration Guide - VHC Camporee 2025 below.
2.) Contact Camping and Activities Registar Wendy Tateishi to register your patrol. You must provide the following:
- Troop # and Council
- Tentaroo Account Username
- Name of Scoutmaster
- Number of Youth Participants and Ranks
- Number of Adult Participants
- Number of Patrols
- Serious allergies, dietary restrictions, and special needs of participants.
- Indicate any needs your patrol will have, or if your unit is helping with this event.
3.) All payments due upon registration.
4.) Your patrols should be prepared!
- Review the "Camp Crusaders" Camporee Handbook.
- Complete the Annual Health and Medical Forms (Parts A, B1, B2) in full and bring them to the event check-in.

| Camp Verdugo Oaks Parking Permit | REQUIRED for all vehicles parking at Camp Verdugo Oaks. US Forest Service requires completion of this permit for all visits to Camp Verdugo Oaks. - Display on driver's side of the dashboard, facing out for easy reading. - Drivers: car keys must be kept on your person at all times. - Car must be parked facing the road. | Tentaroo Registration Guide - VHC CAMPOREE 2025 | Verdugo Hills Council uses a registration system called Tentaroo. Tentaroo is particular to each council: if your patrol is from a council outside of VHC that also uses Tentaroo, a VHC Tentaroo account must be created.
