AWARDS NOMINATION CATEGORIES
There are three award categories: 1) National Scouting America Awards, 2) Community Leaders of the Year Awards, and 3) Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year 2025 (submission must be from an Eagle Scout who attained rank 1/1/25-12/31/25).
Follow the instructions and submission deadlines detailed in each category, below.
Submitting any application does not guarantee a ticket to the event; you must register separately through https://www.vhscouting.org/CouncilandEagleRecog.

Submit a nomination for any of the below National Scouting America Awards in red text.

Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award, Council-Level
Scouts who have earned the rank of Eagle in 2025 are welcome to submit their Eagle Scout service project for consideration of the Glen A. and Melissa W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award.
- The selected council project will be forwarded to successive rounds of competition.
- This application must be submitted to Advancement@vhcbsa.org.
- Applications accepted through 11:59 PM January 30, 2026.
For receipt of awards and certificates by the event date, the submission deadlines are firm.
